About me
Nate Riddle (He/Him) currently serves as the Executive Director of Open Doors in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Open Doors is the area's trusted low-barrier provider of safe shelter for the unhoused, as well as compassionate support and access to services for all in the community. The organization is the sole contractual partner with the City of Harrisonburg for a project collectively called "the Navigation Center." Riddle holistically oversees and leads the organization while advocating for the most vulnerable in Harrisonburg and Rockingham. Riddle brings expertise in organizational development, program management, and partnerships/collaboration.
Riddle earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Public Administration from Regent University in Virginia Beach. He is currently a doctoral candidate in the Doctor of Public Administration program at California Baptist University where his research focuses on collaborative and network governance.
